2008 Results - Auto's

I have ridden at Coventry, Cambridge & Northampton this year. At the end of a very long season I have improved no end and my results have proved it. At the end of last year I was getting lapped and now I have been a front runner. Dad says now looking back it's been a wonderful year and perhaps we shouldn't have done three championships because we couldn't drop the earlier points which weren't as good as the last rounds. But if you look at my results I have consitently improved.

I could have another season in the auto's but I am finding it too hard because of my height and my legs so I have a new set up with two 2009 KTM 65's sponsored by Clough Smith Rail Limited.

Now with the season over we need to practice gears and clutch and our first day on 18.10.08 went really well.

Dad says next year we will only do one championship, CJSC and ride good tracks around the country. Mum says good as we haven't had a holiday this year and we have two booked now for next year. Dad says if I can ride well at Club we can try some BSMA or Elite or British rounds at the end of next year, so that's my aim!

02.3.08 Weedon Northampton 5th 7th 9th 8th Overall 27 Today was all about crashing and riding from a lap down in races 2 & 3. Dad said I was fast after I crashed and I shouldn't have got back on in 3rd race.

09.3.08 Stratford Coventry 3rd 3rd 3rd 3rd Overall 15 Rode well and smooth. Good track.

16.3.08 Armthorpe Northampton 5th 7th 5th 5th Overall 15 I've started to fight for positions dropped it in 4th in 2nd race 200 yards from flag. Would have been 4th overall.

23.3.08 Avon Dassett Northampton 3rd 4th 3rd 3rd Overall 17 My back shock wasn't working 2nd in 1st two races and it spat me off. Still a good day really.

24.3.08 Wroxton Banbury 3rd 3rd Overall 20 Meeting was called off due to snow. Dad changed spring on shock was much better after this.

30.3.08 Stratford Coventry 4th 5th 6th 4th Overall 17. Dad knackered me out this week by taking me practicing every day. I was really tired. Dad says we wont be doing that again!

13.4.08 Culham Northampton 9th 8th 9th Overall 27. Meeting was cancelled after two races because of accidents.

20.4.08 Finningley Coventry 6th 7th 6th 6th Overall 16. I don't like this place! I need to work with dad on my speed I have dropped off the pace since my throttle got stuck practicing on my 65.

27.4.08 Tibshelf Kensworth 3rd 2nd 2nd 2nd Overall 12. Me and Dad have sorted out the issue it was something very small. Dad said I was awesome today.

4.5.08 Gonerby Coventry 2nd 3rd 3rd 3rd Overall 9. Had bad luck today fell twice in second and once in last no one picked me up and had to come from 3/4 lap down. Dad said I road great.

5.5.08 Caister CJSC 3rd 5th 3rd Overall 11. Third block cancelled on saftey grounds. Fell in second race trying too hard to pass. Dad said loads were saying I was jumping great. Must stay on now I'm riding faster!

11.5.08 Mildenhall Northampton 4th 10th 9th 8th 8th Overall 27. Four races due to auto challenge. I was awesome in the first race, crashed in 5th in second and bike wouldn't start lost almost a lap but caught up. I was then ill for the rest of day! Dad said it was because I tried so hard to catch up. Dad is really pleased with me at the moment I need to keep it up now!

24 & 25.05.08 Tibshelf Coventry 4th 5th 5th 4th 4th 3rd 3rd Overall 10. 6 races over two days another good overall for the club championships.

1.6.08 East Trax CJSC 10th 8th 4th 7th Overall 17. Not the best of days gone of the boil a bit. Will try hard to get back into it!

8.6.08 Tony Moto Northampton 6th 7th 9th 16th 6th Overall 40. Another round of Auto Challenge exellent racing massive on the jumps great attitude. Shame about last race when had to come back from last due to 1st corner pile up and he had a big crash in the chase back.

15.6.08 Finningley Cambridge 7th 7th 5th 6th Overall 12. Good style standing up but starts were poor. Good last race.

6.7.08 Badby Northampton 5th 2nd 3rd 3rd Overall 17. Great Great Great unfortunate first race but what speed awesome I'm a comin!!!!!!!!!

13.7.08 Alescote Coventry 4th 3rd 5th 4th Overall 23. Rode well didn't like the track.

19.7.08 Culham CJSC 3rd 2nd 9th =3rd 4th Overall on tie break 21. Rode well two big crashes in last race dropped me from 2nd overall. missed it by 3 points. Chased Harry Wickman down in 2nd race.

20.7.08 Culham CJSC 7th 2nd 6th 4th Overall 21. 1st race was 3rd and then back break jammed on, dropped me from 3rd to 7th and cost me 2nd overall on the day. Nearly won the 2nd race a bike length away. If it was scored over two days I would have won the meeting!!!

27.7.08 Badby Northampton 2nd 2nd 2nd 2nd Overall 16. Good ride led all races but just couldn't get the win. Both me and JC were close and over half a lap ahead of 3rd.

03.08.08 Cusses Gorse Northampton 1st 1st 8th =1st but 2nd Overall on tie break 24. Excellent ride I beat them by miles in 2nd race. Led all races 2 holeshots but crashed in very wet last race, 3 times whilst leading. Needed 1 more place to win my 1st ever overall. Next time!

16.08.08 Culham CJSC 3rd 4th 4th 3rd Overall 15. Good riding, good result in first after trapping my foot down the swinging arm. Led the last race but scared myself whilst leading and dropped back. I would have won overall if I had won this race.

17.08.08 Culham CJSC 4th 5th 5th 5th Overall 18. Good consistent riding but bad luck. Second race fell whilst in 2nd and last race my foot peg broke and back brake got jammed on whilst in 3rd would have finished 3rd overall if not.

23.8.08 Stratford Coventry 4th 3rd 2nd 2nd Overall 15. Good consistent riding. Bike's frame broke so had to borrow a bike for day. Thank you Chris Mills.

24.8.08 Stratford Coventry 4th 3rd 4th 4th Overall 17. Good consistent riding. Back on my bike after frame welded 3rd overall over the weekend Podium place and nice trophy.

31.8.08 Chippenham CJSC 7th 8th 7th 8th Overall 15. Good riding just that a lot of good riders turned up.

14.9.08 West Meon Ringwood 1st 1st 1st 1st Overall MAXIMUM 20. Loved it just what I needed led every race start to finish even practice. Won second race with a flat rear.

21.9.08 Mildenhall CJSC 5th 5th 5th 5th Overall 14. Well done rode well at track you hate. 4th in championship just did enough rounds so you couldn't drop any.

12.10.08 Culham Northampton 2nd 4th 4th 3rd Overall 20. Good ride today great battles between top 5. Came from last in last race to 4th.

19.10.08 Tilton on the Hill Northampton 3rd 3rd 2nd 3rd overall 11. Tried hard made a mistake in 2nd going for the lead.
